Chaukhamba View Camps

Client & location

The problem

Chaukhamba View Camps came to ShubhKarma Tech with a clear business goal but a fragile digital foundation. As a Camping / Adventure Tourism brand operating from Chopta, Uttarakhand, they needed a website that could earn trust, convert enquiries, and stay maintainable after launch. The core problem: Tourism travellers compare many Chopta camps online. The site needed distinctive storytelling, trust (reviews/ratings), attraction context and a simple path to book or enquire. In practical terms, the business faced a gap between brand ambition and digital execution: visitors could not quickly understand offerings, trust signals, or next steps — especially on mobile. Digging deeper, we found: Camp inventory, treks, and booking intent were not reflected in a modern UX. Seasonal tourism traffic needed fast pages and clear WhatsApp paths. Policy/FAQ content was missing for guest confidence before travel.

Issues we found

  • Camp inventory, treks, and booking intent were not reflected in a modern UX.
  • Seasonal tourism traffic needed fast pages and clear WhatsApp paths.
  • Policy/FAQ content was missing for guest confidence before travel.

How we fixed it

We approached Chaukhamba View Camps as a product delivery — not a page redesign. First we mapped user journeys (discover → trust → enquire/book), then rebuilt information architecture, performance budgets, and SEO foundations around those journeys. Created a Next.js tourism site with camp options, adventure highlights, nearby place guides, FAQ answers, gallery/reels moments and prominent Chopta/Rudraprayag location details for local discovery. Our Dehradun studio treated this as a product problem, not a theme swap: discovery workshops, UX structure, UI systems, engineering on Next.js, React, Cloudinary, CSS, SEO, QA, and launch support aligned to Camping / Adventure Tourism goals in Chopta, Uttarakhand. Concretely we shipped: Delivered camps/treks IA with rich media and enquiry/booking flows. Optimized performance for mountain connectivity realities and mobile users. Added policy pages, FAQs, and local Chopta/Uttarakhand SEO signals. The result is a system the client can operate: clearer messaging, faster pages, and conversion paths that work on mobile.

Engineering notes

We prioritized SSR/SSG-friendly content where SEO mattered, optimized media for Core Web Vitals, and kept the codebase structured so future features (booking, ecommerce, CMS, or admin) can plug in without a rewrite.
