The problem
A Panditwari studio that is also an academy needed more than a gallery theme. Ink Nest had to show custom healed work, student portfolios, aftercare, supporting artists and a clear booking path — with a Dehradun address guests can trust — without looking like a template tattoo brochure.
Issues we found
- Studio booking and academy enrolment were competing for the same homepage without clear IA.
- Custom work and student progress lived on Instagram instead of owned portfolio URLs.
- Aftercare and supporting artists were not on pages guests could reopen after a session.
- Panditwari NAP, phone, email and a public build credit were missing from a crawlable footer.

Project narrative
Context
Ink Nest Tattoo Studio is a Dehradun tattoo studio and academy in Panditwari. Guests arrive to book custom work; students arrive to understand how the academy actually trains. The site had to carry both jobs: healed custom pieces from lead artist Shashank Sagar, and a serious academy story — not a one-page Instagram mirror.
What we built
ShubhKarma Tech designed and launched inknesttattoo.com as a WordPress site for the studio and academy. The homepage leads on Ink Nest Tattoo Academy — professional tattoo education, practical studio training and guidance from working artists — then introduces Shashank Sagar’s approach to custom work, composition, placement and healed-in results. Navigation covers About, Academics, Aftercare, Contact, Portfolio, Instagram and Facebook.
Portfolios and aftercare
A studio gallery holds named pieces (black-ink shoulder, neck, Buddha, Japanese dragon, samurai, Geisha & Hannya, Japanese tiger). Student portfolio cards open work from Ajay Awachar, Shubham Singh, Mohit Kumar, Ananya Reddy, Arjun Mehta and Kavya Nair, each with a style focus. Aftercare is a six-step page guests can follow after a session. Supporting-artist profiles cover Jay Barad (Njoy Tattoo Studio) and Dinesh Rao (Micro Tattoo Studio).
