Client & location

  • Client: Babita Agrawal Jewellery

  • Live website: babitaagrawaljewellery.in/

The problem

BAJ sells high-ticket diamond, gold and polki from a showroom in Andheri West. A generic shop theme could not hold nested jewellery trees, named collections, or the trust that actually closes a sale — reviews, exhibitions, staff, and a visit. Shoppers needed to find a piece by type or collection on mobile, then call, WhatsApp, or book a callback without losing the luxury feel.

Issues we found

  • Diamond, gold and polki needed nested product types, not a flat catalogue.
  • Named collections (Allure, Bageecha, Aaina, Niyaaz, Noor) had no dedicated browsing path.
  • Showroom trust — reviews, exhibitions, Instagram, staff — was missing from the site.
  • High-ticket buyers needed call, WhatsApp and callback options, not checkout alone.
  • Mumbai jewellery search was not mapped to real category and collection pages.

How we fixed it

We shipped a WordPress + WooCommerce storefront around how BAJ actually sells. Diamond, gold and polki are nested by product type; Allure, Bageecha, Aaina, Niyaaz and Noor sit as named collections; best sellers, new arrivals and SKU search merchandize the catalogue. Cart, checkout and accounts handle online orders. Video testimonials, Google reviews, Instagram, exhibition stories, Why Choose BAJ, a callback form, WhatsApp and Andheri West NAP carry showroom trust onto the site.

Fixes shipped

  • Built WooCommerce category trees for diamond, gold (including antique kundan) and polki (trending and open).
  • Added collection landings for Allure, Bageecha, Aaina, Niyaaz and Noor.
  • Merchandized best sellers, new arrivals, homepage product chapters and SKU search.
  • Shipped cart, checkout and customer accounts.
  • Placed video testimonials, Google reviews, Instagram and exhibition galleries on the homepage.
  • Added callback form, WhatsApp, store locator and full Andheri West NAP/CIN footer.
  • Set on-page SEO for Mumbai gold, diamond and polki intent across category and collection pages.

Project narrative

Context

Babita Agrawal Jewellery (BAJ) is a diamond, gold and polki house in Andheri West, Mumbai. They needed a live store that could carry a deep catalogue, look like a luxury showroom on the phone, and still convert people who prefer to visit, call, or WhatsApp before they buy.

What we built

ShubhKarma Tech designed and engineered the production site at babitaagrawaljewellery.in. The stack is WordPress and WooCommerce so the BAJ team can add SKUs, new arrivals and content without a developer on every change.

Catalogue architecture

We mapped the real jewellery tree instead of a flat shop. Diamond covers rings, bangles, kada bracelets, loose bracelets, long earrings, studs, kids earrings, bali, necklaces and pendants. Gold covers chains and antique kundan (necklace sets, earrings, bracelets, bangles, rings). Polki is split into trending and open polki across rings, kada, bangles, necklace, pendants, earrings and mangtika. Named house collections — Allure, Bageecha, Aaina, Niyaaz and Noor — sit alongside those categories so shoppers can browse by story as well as by product type.

Storefront merchandising

The homepage leads with diamond and polki chapters, then product-type storytelling for necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets. Best sellers and new arrivals surface priced SKUs. Store search is wired for the codes the showroom already uses (for example PDS, RN, NSE). Cart, checkout and customer accounts (sign in, sign up, password reset) complete the ecommerce loop.

Trust and conversion

High-ticket jewellery still closes in the showroom, so the site carries that confidence online: video testimonials, Google review widgets, Instagram, BAJ Visits, and exhibition galleries (JW Marriott, Jio Convention 2025, Indore 2023, Aurangabad 2026). A Why Choose BAJ block covers legacy, IGI-certified diamonds, BIS-hallmarked gold, customisation and transparent pricing. A callback form (name and phone), WhatsApp, store locator and full NAP — registered office, CIN, emails and phone numbers — sit in the footer so Mumbai visitors can walk in or request a call-back.

SEO and operations

On-page titles and category landings target gold, diamond and polki jewellery intent in Mumbai. Product and collection pages give Google a crawlable catalogue. Footer entity data (legal name, CIN, Andheri West address) keeps the brand consistent for local and branded search. Content pages for Our Story, Media, Blog, Contact and Privacy Policy give the team a CMS they can keep current.
